31 Promises of God for the Believer

The Bible says that all of God’s promises are yes in Christ. We can claim these promises for ourselves as believers and stand on them as on a strong foundation, just as the old songs says, “I’m standing on the promises of God!” Since this is true, I began to ponder what promises I should claim for myself and use as encouragement for difficult days. I chose 31 different promises from scripture to add to my prayer notebook so that I would have one each day to remind me of the goodness of God and the wonderful things He has done and will do for me. I plan to use these each morning and thank God for the promise of the day and allow the scripture to strengthen me for whatever the day may bring. I hope you are encouraged by this list. Our God is good!
